| Introduction |
|
South Korea issues visa in the following categories:
Short term Visa, which is issued for Tourist, Business, and Employment purposes. The other category of visa issued is family visa for visiting relatives.
- A visa does not entitle the bearer to enter the Republic of Korea upon arrival at the port of entry if he/she is found inadmissible.
- Any false or misleading statement may result in the refusal of a visa.
- Short term visas (C-2, C-3, etc.) cannot be extended or altered unless otherwise notified.
- If the sojourn express 90 days after the date of entry, the foreigner shall register with the chief of office or the chief of the branch office with jurisdiction over the place of sojourn, and the medical check-up for registration will be required.
- Immediately after entry, instead of also engaging in tourist activities, a foreigner must not concentrate solely on employment activities.
- The foreigner must not be employed as receptionist, dancer, singer, musician, acrobat, etc., at places of entertainment which might endanger good morals and manners, engage in types of business which go against the tenor of agreement such as providing medical treatment and other professions which require certain qualifications in accordance with domestic law.
For all categories of visa the following are required
- The applicant should have a valid passport,One visa form (Application for visa),
- One passport size photograph
