(BCL) was established in Thailand in 1976 after the founder Mr. Boonchoo Yensabai left his banking practice, it then operated for many years under the names of Boonchoo International, Boonchoo Vipava & Glickman and Boonchoo, Blumenthal & Richter. Mr. Boonchoo Yensabai was formerly the In-House Counsel of Chase Manhattan Bank, Bangkok (presently JP Morgan Chase). The firm operates as a niche commercial legal practice from three offices in Thailand (Bangkok, Phuket and Pattaya) and from a network of affiliated offices in SE Asia, Australasia, USA, Canada, Middle East and Europe. BCL offers specialist advice to clients in respect of company and commercial matters, including white collar crime. The firm also offers arbitration services with qualified arbitrators in house who are members of the Thai Arbitration Institute. The legal practice of the firm includes shipping law, aviation law, taxation and banking law, employment law, mergers & acquisitions and joint ventures.

Graduated in 1986 LLB from Chulalongkorn University Law School and in 1969he obtained a Diploma in Law at the US Army Adjutant General School, and a Diploma in Management from the Air University, Gunter Air Force Base, Alabama. In 1974, he achieved a Certificate of Achievement.

Law career started as in house Counsel for Chase Manhattan Bank Thailand, offering in-house legal services and training related to funding, credit analysis, personal loans, bills discounting and warehouse financing.
