	Principal Contact: Jonathan Rostron Jonathan Rostron (Partner) was admitted as a solicitor in England in 1985 and in Hong Kong in 1987. He worked with Holman Fenwick & Willan in London and Hong Kong between 1985 and 1990 and in London with More Fisher Brown from 1990 to 1992. He became a partner of the now defunct City of London law firm, Sinclair Roche and Temperley in 1994 and in July 2001 left to set up Jonathan Rostron Solicitors.
	Partner: Mark Pierrepont Mark Pierrepont (Partner) was admitted as a solicitor in England in 1983 and in Hong Kong in 1992. He qualified whilst at Gregory, Rowcliffe & Co. of 1 Bedford Row, London WCl and , after gaining about 3 years post-qualification experience in litigation work, he moved to Thomson, Snell & Passmore, being a large UK firm with its Head Office in Tunbridge Wells, Kent. Having become a partner at Thomson, Snell & Passmore and gained a further 5 years or so experience in commercial, property and general civil litigation work, Mark moved to Victor Chu & Co. in Hong Kong in July 1991 (with his admission being 6 months later in January 1992). He stayed with Victor Chu & Co. for over 16 years working as a consultant and specialising in commercial litigation work, until he joined Jonathan Rostron Solicitors at the beginning of November 2007, becoming a partner of the firm later in the same month.
	Consultant: Neil Everatt Neil Everatt (Consultant) is a law graduate of Nottingham University. He was admitted as a solicitor in England & Wales in 1983 and in Hong Kong in 1985. Neil undertook his articles of clerkship at Norton Rose in London. After admission, Neil worked as an assistant solicitor with Malkin Cullis & Sumption, London specializing in commercial and shipping litigation work though he also had hands-on experience in employment and banking matters. In 1986, Neil was seconded to Au Yeung & Co. in Hong Kong to attend a large commercial fraud trial, the so-called "Carrian Case", which gave rise to the longest and one of the most complex criminal trials in Hong Kong. On returning to UK in 1987, Neil joined Lawrence Graham. He became a partner of the firm in 1993, leading a team in Lawrence Graham’s shipping and international trade department. During his 15 years' practice in Lawrence Graham, Neil handled predominantly "dry" shipping litigation cases, including charterparty disputes, bills of lading disputes, cargo claims, demurrage claims and general average disputes in the High Court, Admiralty Court and international arbitration tribunals. Neil litigated several large unsafe port claims in the Mississippi and Orinoco and jetty/quay damage claims in Greece, Guinea Bissau and Venezuela. Neil also litigated some of the leading English cases on arrest of ships and dangerous cargoes. As a former head of Lawrence Graham's Ukrainian office, Neil advised international clients on English law and Ukrainian law. Neil left Lawrence Graham in 2002 and worked until 2007 as a part-time in-house legal adviser of Leman Commodities S.A. (one of the world's largest steel traders) and Fayette International Holdings Ltd. Neil is a CEDR accredited mediator. He had been active in mediating a wide range of disputes between companies and between individuals during the period of 2002-2007.
	Consultant: Raj Selvaskandan Raj Selvaskandan has joined the firm with effect from 1st October 2008 as a Consultant. Raj was previously a partner with Hong Kong law firm Philip K.H. Wong, Kennedy Y.H. Wong & Co and has worked as an adviser to a joint venture between a Hong Kong listed company subsidiary and a US private equity fund which is developing 5 hotels/casinos in Macau. Raj practises in the areas of banking, corporate and litigation. He has strong links to the Indian business community in the Hong Kong and has acted for Hong Kong universities, banks, insurance companies as well as a number of listed companies in Hong Kong. Raj is also admitted in England and Wales and Sri Lanka, the country of his birth.
	Associate: Bella Lam Bella Lam (Associate) was born in Fujian Province in the People's Republic of China. Bella came to Hong Kong in early 1990s at the age of 10. Bella studied law at the University of Hong Kong where she obtained her Bachelor degree in Laws in 2004 and Postgraduate Certificate in Laws in 2005. Bella was admitted as a Solicitor of the High Court of HKSAR in 2007 after completing two years' legal training. She joined Jonathan Rostron Solicitors shortly after her admission in February 2008.
