He immediately moved to Victoria, articled with Deborah Acheson, and was called to the British Columbia Bar
Since graduation, he has worked in personal injury, product liability law and class actions. He, with Deborah, was instrumental in getting the Class Proceedings Act passed into law in British Columbia in 1995. He works primarily on class actions and individual personal injury, product liability and professional negligence actions
He is on the Executive of the Trial Lawyers Association of British Columbia and is a member of the American Association for Justice
He has lectured at the University of Victoria Law School and has presented at Continuing Legal Education Seminars on class actions
