    The High Court of Bombay has jurisdiction over the entire state of Bombay. It has jurisdiction on all district, administrative and other courts in Bombay, and at the Goa bench, this jurisdiction further extends to the state of Goa and the Union Territory of Daman & Diu.

    This court takes cognizance of all civil and criminal matters arising within the northern district of Goa. The north district consists of three subdivisions — Panaji, Mapusa, and Bicholim. Therefore, the capital Panaji falls under the North Goa District & Sessions Court.

    District & Sessions Court, South Goa


    District & Session Court South Goa, Margao – Ponda Hwy, Old Market, Edapally – Panvel Hwy, Old Market, Margao, Goa 403601


    This court has jurisdiction over all civil and criminal matters arising in the southern district of Goa. The south district consists of five subdivisions – Ponda, Mormugao‑Vasco, Margao, Quepem, and Dharbandora.
